Busy month

Lets see... quit my job at Critical Path Software last month. Check. Worked full time on a side project this month. Check. Start new job at Avatron next month. Check!
The new version of the software does fix the memory leak, and I had only 3 scanning errors when making new profiles for my test printers, so that's an improvement.

However, the profiles are still basically useless for me as most skin tones still have the yellow/green cast to them.

And with that, I've decided to return the product. I really really want the ColorMunki to work! But I can't justify spending $450 and then having to spend days futzing with it to maybe get it make a single good profile or hope that X-Rite will fix whatever problems they have. The ColorMunki was supposed to make getting good color easier, not harder. My current method of printing is equally hard and it's free...

Comments now work

Someone noticed that the comments functionality was busted. I think I've got that sorted out and working now. Hopefully I won't get a large helping of spam with that...
I have no idea why the ColorMunki software needs a long running process, but apparently it does and it leaks like a sieve.

I've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the ColorMunki in the hopes of actually being able to get consistently good prints from my printer. So, when my local dealer received their shipment on Monday I purchased one of the first units and immediately dug into it...

Unfortunately, they forgot to document this. Thus, after designing UI to fit nicely in Leopard you get around to testing it in Tiger only to discover you are missing a nice swath of UI on the right. Grr.

Current solution is to programmatically resize the prefs window to be 75 pixels wider on didSelectand smaller again on willUnselect. Hopefully that doesn't bust anything important...
